Our History

• MFNS is one of the longest-standing DPGs. We were organized in 1977.
• We completed 2023-24 at 716 members strong, representing a broad array of industries and roles, including Project Management, Supply Chain and Procurement, Sales, Strategy, Product Management, Educator, University or K-12 Foodservice Director/Manager, Patient Experience, Performance Improvement, Project/Program Management, System Leadership, Department Leadership, Human Resources, Clinical Nutrition, and Field Support.
• Among our members, you will find peers who relate to your interests and specialties, many of whom can advise, mentor, and provide solutions to support your career based on their real industry experiences.
• As the most valued leaders of food and nutrition management, we are the conduit to health, nutrition, and food service for the consumers we serve. Our primary focus is facilitating professional networking and engaging our members in activities that result in management and leadership career development and growth, along with providing educational opportunities related to industry trends and innovations.
